Sunan Ibn Majah 1157
حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، عَنْ عُبَيْدَةَ بْنِ مُعَتِّبٍ الضَّبِّيِّ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، عَنْ سَهْمِ بْنِ مِنْجَابٍ، عَنْ قَزَعَةَ، عَنْ قَرْثَعٍ، عَنْ أَبِي أَيُّوبَ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ كَانَ يُصَلِّي قَبْلَ الظُّهْرِ أَرْبَعًا إِذَا زَالَتِ الشَّمْسُ لاَ يَفْصِلُ بَيْنَهُنَّ بِتَسْلِيمٍ وَقَالَ " إِنَّ أَبْوَابَ السَّمَاءِ تُفْتَحُ إِذَا زَالَتِ الشَّمْسُ " .
Ali bin Muhammad narrated to us: Waki narrated to us, from Ubaidah bin Mutib Ad-Dabbi, from Ibrahim, from Sahm bin Minjab, from Qazah, from Qarthah, from Abu Ayyub, that the Prophet (ﷺ) used to pray four rakahs before Zuhr after the sun had passed its zenith, without separating them with taslim. He said: The gates of heaven are opened when the sun passes its zenith.
