Uthman bin Abu Shaibah narrated to us: Abu Hafs Al-Abbar narrated to us, from Al-Amash, from Amr bin Murrah, from Abu Ubaidah, from Abdullah bin Masud, from the Prophet (ﷺ), who said: Allah is Witr and loves Witr, so pray Witr, O people of the Quran. A Bedouin said: What is the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) saying? He replied: It is not for you or your companions.
