Sunan Ibn Majah 1178
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا شَرِيكٌ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ بُرَيْدِ بْنِ أَبِي مَرْيَمَ، عَنْ أَبِي الْحَوْرَاءِ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ، قَالَ عَلَّمَنِي جَدِّي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ كَلِمَاتٍ أَقُولُهُنَّ فِي قُنُوتِ الْوِتْرِ " اللَّهُمَّ عَافِنِي فِيمَنْ عَافَيْتَ وَتَوَلَّنِي فِيمَنْ تَوَلَّيْتَ وَاهْدِنِي فِيمَنْ هَدَيْتَ وَقِنِي شَرَّ مَا قَضَيْتَ وَبَارِكْ لِي فِيمَا أَعْطَيْتَ إِنَّكَ تَقْضِي وَلاَ يُقْضَى عَلَيْكَ إِنَّهُ لاَ يَذِلُّ مَنْ وَالَيْتَ سُبْحَانَكَ رَبَّنَا تَبَارَكْتَ وَتَعَالَيْتَ " .
Abu Bakr bin Abu Shaibah narrated to us: Sharik narrated to us, from Abu Ishaq, from Buraid bin Abu Maryam, from Abu Al-Hawra, from Al-Hasan bin Ali, who said: My grandfather, the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ), taught me words to say in the Qunut of Witr: O Allah, grant me well-being along with those to whom You have granted well-being; take me into Your care along with those whom You have taken into Your care; guide me along with those whom You have guided; protect me from the evil of what You have decreed; and bless for me what You have bestowed. You decree, and none can decree over You. The one whom You befriend is not humiliated. Glory be to You, our Lord; blessed are You and exalted.
