Translation
Abdur-Rahman bin Ibrahim Ad-Dimashqi narrated to us: Al-Firyabi narrated to us, from Al-Awzai, from Az-Zuhri, from Ata bin Yazid Al-Laithi, from Abu Ayyub Al-Ansari, that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: Witr is due. Whoever wishes may pray Witr as five rakahs; whoever wishes may pray it as three; and whoever wishes may pray it as one.
