Sunan Ibn Majah 1196
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الدِّمَشْقِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْوَاحِدِ، حَدَّثَنَا الأَوْزَاعِيُّ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ، قَالَ حَدَّثَتْنِي عَائِشَةُ، قَالَتْ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ يُوتِرُ بِوَاحِدَةٍ. ثُمَّ يَرْكَعُ رَكْعَتَيْنِ يَقْرَأُ فِيهِمَا وَهُوَ جَالِسٌ. فَإِذَا أَرَادَ أَنْ يَرْكَعَ، قَامَ فَرَكَعَ .
Abdur-Rahman bin Ibrahim Ad-Dimashqi narrated to us: Umar bin Abdul-Wahid narrated to us: Al-Awzai narrated to us, from Yahya bin Abu Kathir, from Abu Salamah, who said: Aishah narrated to me, saying: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) would pray Witr as one rakah, then pray two rakahs while seated, reciting in them. When he wished to bow, he would stand and bow.
