Sunan Ibn Majah 1199
Arabic hadith text
حَدَّثَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ هِشَامٍ، حَدَّثَنَا النَّضْرُ بْنُ شُمَيْلٍ، أَنْبَأَنَا شُعْبَةُ، حَدَّثَنِي سُهَيْلُ بْنُ أَبِي صَالِحٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ إِذَا صَلَّى رَكْعَتَىِ الْفَجْرِ اضْطَجَعَ .
Translation
Umar bin Hisham narrated to us: An-Nadr bin Shumail narrated to us: Shubah informed us: Suhail bin Abu Salih narrated to me, from his father, from Abu Hurairah, who said: When the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) prayed the two rakahs before Fajr, he would lie down.
