What was narrated concerning one who does the prostration after the Salam Sunan Ibn Majah 1218
Arabic hadith text
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ خَلاَّدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، عَنْ عَلْقَمَةَ، أَنَّ ابْنَ مَسْعُودٍ،سَجَدَ سَجْدَتَىِ السَّهْوِ بَعْدَ السَّلاَمِ وَذَكَرَ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ فَعَلَ ذَلِكَ .
Translation
It wasnarrated from ‘Alqamah that Ibn Mas’ud prostrated twice fortheprostrations of forgetfulness after the Salam, and he mentionedthatthe Prophet (ﷺ) did that.”
