Sunan Ibn Majah 1249
Arabic hadith text
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ يَعْلَى التَّيْمِيُّ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ بْنِ عُمَيْرٍ، عَنْ قَزَعَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ قَالَ " لاَ صَلاَةَ بَعْدَ الْعَصْرِ حَتَّى تَغْرُبَ الشَّمْسُ وَلاَ صَلاَةَ بَعْدَ الْفَجْرِ حَتَّى تَطْلُعَ الشَّمْسُ " .
Translation
Abu Bakr bin Abu Shaibah narrated to us: Yahya bin Yala At-Taimi narrated to us, from Abdul-Malik bin Umair, from Qazah, from Abu Said Al-Khudri, from the Prophet (ﷺ), who said: There is no prayer after Asr until the sun sets, and no prayer after Fajr until the sun rises.
