Raising the hands when bowing, and when raising the head from bowing Sunan Ibn Majah 861
Arabic hadith text
حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ عَمَّارٍ، حَدَّثَنَا رِفْدَةُ بْنُ قُضَاعَةَ الْغَسَّانِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا الأَوْزَاعِيُّ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُبَيْدِ بْنِ عُمَيْرٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ، عُمَيْرِ بْنِ حَبِيبٍ قَالَ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلمـ يَرْفَعُ يَدَيْهِ مَعَ كُلِّ تَكْبِيرَةٍ فِي الصَّلاَةِ الْمَكْتُوبَةِ .
Translation
It wasnarrated that ‘Umair bin Habib said
“The Messenger of Allah(ﷺ) used to raise his hands at every Takbir (saying Allahu Akbar)inthe obligatory prayer.”
