Sunan Ibn Majah 1273

Muhammad ibn al-Sabbah narrated to us; Sufyan ibn Uyaynah informed us, from Ayyub, from Ata, who said: I heard Ibn Abbas say: I bear witness that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) prayed before the sermon. Then he delivered the sermon and, realizing that he had not made the women hear, went to them, reminded and admonished them, and instructed them to give charity. Bilal was gesturing with his hands like this, and the women began casting down earrings, rings, and other things.
