What was narrated concerning the ‘Eid Prayers Sunan Ibn Majah 1274
Arabic hadith text
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ خَلاَّدٍ الْبَاهِلِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ، عَنْ طَاوُسٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلمـ صَلَّى يَوْمَ الْعِيدِ بِغَيْرِ أَذَانٍ وَلاَ إِقَامَةٍ .
Translation
It wasnarrated from Ibn ‘Abbas that the Prophet (ﷺ) prayed on thedayof ‘Eid with no Adhan and no Iqamah.
