What was narrated concerning the ‘Eid Prayers Sunan Ibn Majah 1276
Arabic hadith text
حَدَّثَنَا حَوْثَرَةُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أُسَامَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، قَالَ كَانَ النَّبِيُّ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ ثُمَّ أَبُو بَكْرٍ ثُمَّ عُمَرُيُصَلُّونَ الْعِيدَ قَبْلَ الْخُطْبَةِ .
Translation
It wasnarrated that Ibn ‘Umar said
“The Prophet (ﷺ), then AbuBakr,then ‘Umar, used to pray the ‘Eid prayer before delivering thesermon.”
