Sunan Ibn Majah 1278
Arabic hadith text
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو كُرَيْبٍ، مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْعَلاَءِ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ يَعْلَى، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ شُعَيْبٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ كَبَّرَ فِي صَلاَةِ الْعِيدِ سَبْعًا وَخَمْسًا .
Translation
Abu Kurayb Muhammad ibn al-Ala narrated to us; Abdullah ibn al-Mubarak narrated to us, from Abdullah ibn Abd al-Rahman ibn Yala, from Amr ibn Shuayb, from his father, from his grandfather, that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said the takbir seven times and five times in the Eid prayer.
