حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الصَّبَّاحِ، أَنْبَأَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْمُنْتَشِرِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ حَبِيبِ بْنِ سَالِمٍ، عَنِ النُّعْمَانِ بْنِ بَشِيرٍ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ كَانَ يَقْرَأُ فِي الْعِيدَيْنِ بِـ ‏‏{سَبِّحِ اسْمَ رَبِّكَ الأَعْلَى}‏ وَ ‏‏{هَلْ أَتَاكَ حَدِيثُ الْغَاشِيَةِ}‏ ‏.‏

Translation

Muhammad ibn al-Sabbah narrated to us; Sufyan ibn Uyaynah informed us, from Ibrahim ibn Muhammad ibn al-Muntashir, from his father, from Habib ibn Salim, from al-Numan ibn Bashir, that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) used to recite in the two Eid prayers: Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High; and Has the account of the Overwhelming come to you?
