What was narrated concerning the sermon for ‘Eid Sunan Ibn Majah 1284
Arabic hadith text
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ نُمَيْرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ أَبِي خَالِدٍ، قَالَ رَأَيْتُ أَبَا كَاهِلٍ وَكَانَتْ لَهُ صُحْبَةٌ فَحَدَّثَنِي أَخِي، عَنْهُ قَالَ رَأَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلمـ يَخْطُبُ عَلَى نَاقَةٍ وَحَبَشِيٌّ آخِذٌ بِخِطَامِهَا .
Translation
It wasnarrated that Isma’il bin Abu Khalid said
“I saw Abu Kahil,andhe was a Companions, and my brother narrated to me that he said:‘Isaw the Prophet (ﷺ) delivering the sermon atop his she-camel, andan Ethiopian was holding onto its reins.’”
