Sunan Ibn Majah 1287
Arabic hadith text
حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ عَمَّارٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ سَعْدِ بْنِ عَمَّارِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ الْمُؤَذِّنِ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ، قَالَ كَانَ النَّبِيُّ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ يُكَبِّرُ بَيْنَ أَضْعَافِ الْخُطْبَةِ يُكْثِرُ التَّكْبِيرَ فِي خُطْبَةِ الْعِيدَيْنِ .
Translation
Hisham ibn Ammar narrated to us; Abdur-Rahman ibn Sad ibn Ammar ibn Sad, the caller to prayer, narrated to us; my father narrated to me, from his father, from his grandfather, who said: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to say the takbir during the sermon, repeating it often in the sermon of the two Eids.
