Sunan Ibn Majah 1290
حَدَّثَنَا هَدِيَّةُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْوَهَّابِ، وَعَمْرُو بْنُ رَافِعٍ الْبَجَلِيُّ، قَالاَ حَدَّثَنَا الْفَضْلُ بْنُ مُوسَى، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ السَّائِبِ، قَالَ حَضَرْتُ الْعِيدَ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ فَصَلَّى بِنَا الْعِيدَ ثُمَّ قَالَ " قَدْ قَضَيْنَا الصَّلاَةَ. فَمَنْ أَحَبَّ أَنْ يَجْلِسَ لِلْخُطْبَةِ فَلْيَجْلِسْ. وَمَنْ أَحَبَّ أَنْ يَذْهَبَ فَلْيَذْهَبْ " .
Hadiyyah ibn Abd al-Wahhab and Amr ibn Rafi al-Bajali narrated to us. They said: al-Fadl ibn Musa narrated to us; Ibn Jurayj narrated to us, from Ata, from Abdullah ibn al-Saib, who said: I attended the Eid with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him). He led us in the Eid prayer, then said: ‘We have completed the prayer. Whoever wishes to sit for the sermon, let him sit; and whoever wishes to leave, let him leave.’
