Sunan Ibn Majah 1295
Arabic hadith text
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الصَّبَّاحِ، أَنْبَأَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْعُمَرِيُّ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، وَعُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، قَالَ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ يَخْرُجُ إِلَى الْعِيدِ مَاشِيًا وَيَرْجِعُ مَاشِيًا .
Translation
Muhammad ibn al-Sabbah narrated to us; Abdur-Rahman ibn Abdullah al-Umari informed us, from his father and Ubaydullah, from Nafi, from Ibn Umar, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) used to go out to the Eid walking and return walking.
