What was narrated concerning going out to the ‘Eid Prayer walking Sunan Ibn Majah 1296
Arabic hadith text
حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ حَكِيمٍ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ، حَدَّثَنَا زُهَيْرٌ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنِ الْحَارِثِ، عَنْ عَلِيٍّ، قَالَإِنَّ مِنَ السُّنَّةِ أَنْ يَمْشِيَ إِلَى الْعِيدِ .
Translation
It wasnarrated that ‘Ali said
“It is part of the Sunnah to walk to‘Eid (prayers).”
