حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ حَكِيمٍ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو قُتَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، أَنَّهُ كَانَ يَخْرُجُ إِلَى الْعِيدِ فِي طَرِيقٍ وَيَرْجِعُ فِي أُخْرَى وَيَزْعُمُ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ كَانَ يَفْعَلُ ذَلِكَ .
Translation
Yahya ibn Hakim narrated to us; Abu Qutaybah narrated to us; Abdullah ibn Umar narrated to us, from Nafi, from Ibn Umar, that he used to go to the Eid by one route and return by another, and he held that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) used to do that.
