What was narrated concerning going out on the day of ‘Eid via one route and returning via another route Sunan Ibn Majah 1301
Arabic hadith text
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ حُمَيْدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو تُمَيْلَةَ، عَنْ فُلَيْحِ بْنِ سُلَيْمَانَ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ الزُّرَقِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلمـ كَانَ إِذَا خَرَجَ إِلَى الْعِيدِ رَجَعَ فِي غَيْرِ الطَّرِيقِ الَّذِي أَخَذَ فِيهِ .
Translation
It wasnarrated from Abu Hurairah that when the Prophet (ﷺ) wentout to‘Eid (prayers), he would return via another route than thefirstone he took.
