حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُصَفَّى الْحِمْصِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا بَقِيَّةُ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، حَدَّثَنِي مُغِيرَةُ الضَّبِّيُّ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ بْنِ رُفَيْعٍ، عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ أَنَّهُ قَالَ ‏ "‏ اجْتَمَعَ عِيدَانِ فِي يَوْمِكُمْ هَذَا فَمَنْ شَاءَ أَجْزَأَهُ مِنَ الْجُمُعَةِ وَإِنَّا مُجَمِّعُونَ إِنْ شَاءَ اللَّهُ ‏" ‏ ‏.‏ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى، حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ رَبِّهِ، حَدَّثَنَا بَقِيَّةُ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ مُغِيرَةَ الضَّبِّيِّ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ بْنِ رُفَيْعٍ، عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ نَحْوَهُ ‏.‏

Translation

Muhammad ibn al-Masaffa al-Himsi narrated to us; Baqiyyah narrated to us; Shu‘bah narrated to us; Mughirah al-Dabbi narrated to me, from Abd al-Aziz ibn Rufi, from Abu Salih, from Ibn Abbas, from the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), who said: Two Eids have come together on this day of yours. Whoever wishes, it will suffice him in place of Friday prayer; and we shall hold Friday prayer, if Allah wills.

Muhammad ibn Yahya narrated to us; Yazid ibn Abd Rabbih narrated to us; Baqiyyah narrated to us; Shu‘bah narrated to us, from Mughirah al-Dabbi, from Abd al-Aziz ibn Rufi, from Abu Salih, from Abu Hurayrah, from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), similarly.
