Sunan Ibn Majah 1315
Arabic hadith text
حَدَّثَنَا جُبَارَةُ بْنُ الْمُغَلِّسِ، حَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاجُ بْنُ تَمِيمٍ، عَنْ مَيْمُونِ بْنِ مِهْرَانَ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، قَالَ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ يَغْتَسِلُ يَوْمَ الْفِطْرِ وَيَوْمَ الأَضْحَى .
Translation
Jabbarah ibn al-Mughallis narrated to us; Hajjaj ibn Tamim narrated to us, from Maymun ibn Mihran, from Ibn Abbas, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) used to bathe on the day of Eid al-Fitr and the day of Eid al-Adha.
