The time of the ‘Eid Prayer Sunan Ibn Majah 1317
Arabic hadith text
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ بْنُ الضَّحَّاكِ، حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ عَيَّاشٍ، حَدَّثَنَا صَفْوَانُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو، عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ خُمَيْرٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ بُسْرٍ، أَنَّهُ خَرَجَ مَعَ النَّاسِ يَوْمَ فِطْرٍ أَوْ أَضْحًى فَأَنْكَرَ إِبْطَاءَ الإِمَامِ وَقَالَإِنْ كُنَّا لَقَدْ فَرَغْنَا سَاعَتَنَا هَذِهِ وَذَلِكَ حِينَ التَّسْبِيحِ .
Translation
Yazidbin Khumair narrated that ‘Abdullah bin Busr went out with thepeople on the Day of Fitr or Adha, and he objected to the Imam’sdelay. He said
“We would have finished by this time.” And thatwasthe time of Tasbih.
