حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدَةَ، أَنْبَأَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ سِيرِينَ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، قَالَ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ يُصَلِّي مِنَ اللَّيْلِ مَثْنَى مَثْنَى ‏.‏

It wasnarrated that Ibn ‘Umar said

“The Prophet (ﷺ) was askedaboutthe night prayer. He said: ‘Pray two by two, and if you fearthatdawn is coming, then perform Witr with one Rak’ah.’”
