What was narrated about what it is hoped will suffice for the night Prayer Sunan Ibn Majah 1369
Arabic hadith text
حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا جَرِيرٌ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ، عَنْ أَبِي مَسْعُودٍ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ قَالَ " مَنْ قَرَأَ الآيَتَيْنِ مِنْ آخِرِ سُورَةِ الْبَقَرَةِ فِي لَيْلَةٍ كَفَتَاهُ "
Translation
It wasnarrated from Abu Mas’ud that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ)said
“Whoever recites the last two Verses of Surat Al-Baqarah atnight,that will be sufficient for him.”
