Prostration Sunan Ibn Majah 886
Arabic hadith text
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبَّادُ بْنُ رَاشِدٍ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ، حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَرُ، صَاحِبُ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ قَالَإِنْ كُنَّا لَنَأْوِي لِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ مِمَّا يُجَافِي بِيَدَيْهِ عَنْ جَنْبَيْهِ إِذَا سَجَدَ .
Translation
Ahmar,the Companion of the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ), narrated to us
“Weused to feel sorry for the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) because hetookpains to keep his arms away from his sides when he prostrated.”
