Sunan Ibn Majah 1405
Arabic hadith text
حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ نُمَيْرٍ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ قَالَ " صَلاَةٌ فِي مَسْجِدِي هَذَا أَفْضَلُ مِنْ أَلْفِ صَلاَةٍ فِيمَا سِوَاهُ مِنَ الْمَسَاجِدِ إِلاَّ الْمَسْجِدَ الْحَرَامَ " .
Translation
Ishaq ibn Mansur narrated to us; Abdullah ibn Numayr narrated to us, from Ubaydullah, from Nafi‘, from Ibn Umar, from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), who said: ‘One prayer in this mosque of mine is better than a thousand prayers in any other mosque, except al-Masjid al-Haram.’
