What was narrated concerning praying in the Mosque of Baitil-Maqdis (Jerusalem) Sunan Ibn Majah 1409
Arabic hadith text
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الأَعْلَى، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيَّبِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ قَالَ " لاَ تُشَدُّ الرِّحَالُ إِلاَّ إِلَى ثَلاَثَةِ مَسَاجِدَ مَسْجِدِ الْحَرَامِ وَمَسْجِدِي هَذَا وَالْمَسْجِدِ الأَقْصَى "
Translation
It wasnarrated from Abu Hurairah that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ)said
“No one should prepare a mount (travel) to visit any mosqueexceptthree: the Sacred Mosque, this mosque of mine, and AqsaMosque.”
