Tasbih (glorifying Allah) when bowing and prostrating Sunan Ibn Majah 889
Arabic hadith text
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الصَّبَّاحِ، حَدَّثَنَا جَرِيرٌ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ، عَنْ أَبِي الضُّحَى، عَنْ مَسْرُوقٍ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، قَالَتْ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلمـ يُكْثِرُ أَنْ يَقُولَ فِي رُكُوعِهِ وَسُجُودِهِ: " سُبْحَانَكَ اللَّهُمَّ وَبِحَمْدِكَ. اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِي " . يَتَأَوَّلُ الْقُرْآنَ
Translation
It wasnarrated that ‘Aishah said
“The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ)oftenused to say when bowing and prostrating: ‘Subhanak Allahumma wabihamdika, Allahummaghfir li (Glory be to You, O Allah, and praise; OAllah forgive me),’ following the command given by theQur’an.”[SuratAn-Nasr (110)]
