Sending peace and blessings upon the Prophet (saws) Sunan Ibn Majah 908
Arabic hadith text
حَدَّثَنَا جُبَارَةُ بْنُ الْمُغَلِّسِ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ دِينَارٍ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ زَيْدٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ " مَنْ نَسِيَ الصَّلاَةَ عَلَىَّ خَطِئَ طَرِيقَ الْجَنَّةِ "
Translation
It wasnarrated that Ibn ‘Abbas said
“The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ)said: ‘Whoever forgets to send peace and blessings upon me, then hehas missed the road to Paradise.’”
