Placing the right hand on the left during Prayer
Arabic hadith text
حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الأَحْوَصِ، عَنْ سِمَاكِ بْنِ حَرْبٍ، عَنْ قَبِيصَةَ بْنِ هُلْبٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَكَانَ النَّبِيُّ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ يَؤُمُّنَا فَيَأْخُذُ شِمَالَهُ بِيَمِينِهِ .
Translation
It wasnarrated from Qabisah bin Hulb that his father said
“TheProphet(ﷺ) used to lead us in prayer, and he would take hold of hislefthand with his right.”
