Arabic hadith text
حَدَّثَنَا سَهْلُ بْنُ أَبِي سَهْلٍ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ، ح وَحَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، جَمِيعًا عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ قَالَ " إِذَا حَضَرَ الْعَشَاءُ وَأُقِيمَتِ الصَّلاَةُ، فَابْدَءُوا بِالْعَشَاءِ "
Translation
It wasnarrated from ‘Aishah that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said
“Iffood is ready and the Iqamah is being given, then start with thefood.”
