Arabic hadith text
حَدَّثَنَا زَيْدُ بْنُ أَخْزَمَ أَبُو طَالِبٍ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ، وَأَبُو قُتَيْبَةَ قَالاَ حَدَّثَنَا هَارُونُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ مُعَاوِيَةَ بْنِ قُرَّةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ كُنَّا نُنْهَى أَنْ نَصُفَّ، بَيْنَ السَّوَارِي عَلَى عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ وَنُطْرَدُ عَنْهَا طَرْدًا .
Translation
Zayd ibn Akhzam Abu Talib narrated to us: Abu Dawud and Abu Qutaybah narrated to us; they said: Harun ibn Muslim narrated to us, from Qatadah, from Muawiyah ibn Qurrah, from his father, who said: In the time of the Messenger of Allah, we were forbidden to form rows between the pillars, and we were driven away from them forcefully.
