Sunan Ibn Majah 1030
Arabic hadith text
حَدَّثَنَا حَرْمَلَةُ بْنُ يَحْيَى، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ وَهْبٍ، حَدَّثَنِي زَمْعَةُ بْنُ صَالِحٍ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ دِينَارٍ، قَالَ صَلَّى ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ وَهُوَ بِالْبَصْرَةِ عَلَى بِسَاطِهِ ثُمَّ حَدَّثَ أَصْحَابَهُ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ كَانَ يُصَلِّي عَلَى بِسَاطِهِ .
Translation
Harmalah ibn Yahya narrated to us: Abdullah ibn Wahb narrated to us: Zamah ibn Salih narrated to me, from Amr ibn Dinar, who said: Ibn Abbas prayed on his rug when he was in Basra, then told his companions that the Messenger of Allah used to pray on his rug.
