Arabic hadith text
حَدَّثَنَا مُحْرِزُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ الْعَدَنِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ أَبِي حَازِمٍ، عَنِ الْعَلاَءِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ قَالَ " الْجُمُعَةُ إِلَى الْجُمُعَةِ كَفَّارَةُ مَا بَيْنَهُمَا. مَا لَمْ تُغْشَ الْكَبَائِرُ " .
Translation
Muharriz ibn Salamah al-Adani narrated to us: Abd al-Aziz ibn Abi Hazim narrated to us, from al-Ala, from his father, from Abu Hurayrah: The Messenger of Allah said: “From one Friday to the next is expiation for what lies between them, so long as major sins are not committed.”
