حَدَّثَنَا عُقْبَةُ بْنُ مُكْرَمٍ، حَدَّثَنَا سَلْمُ بْنُ قُتَيْبَةَ، عَنْ هَاشِمِ بْنِ الْبَرِيدِ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنِ الْبَرَاءِ بْنِ عَازِبٍ، قَالَ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ يُصَلِّي بِنَا الظُّهْرَ فَنَسْمَعُ مِنْهُ الآيَةَ بَعْدَ الآيَاتِ مِنْ سُورَةِ لُقْمَانَ وَالذَّارِيَاتِ .
Translation
'Uqbah ibn Mukram narrated to us: Salm ibn Qutaybah narrated to us, from Hashim ibn al-Barid, from Abu Ishaq, from al-Bara' ibn 'Azib, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) used to lead us in Zuhr, and we would hear from him a verse after verses from Surat Luqman and Surat al-Dhariyat.
