What was narrated concerning bath on Friday Sunan Ibn Majah 1089
Arabic hadith text
حَدَّثَنَا سَهْلُ بْنُ أَبِي سَهْلٍ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنْ صَفْوَانَ بْنِ سُلَيْمٍ، عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ يَسَارٍ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ قَالَ " غُسْلُ يَوْمِ الْجُمُعَةِ وَاجِبٌ عَلَى كُلِّ مُحْتَلِمٍ "
Translation
It wasnarrated from Abu Sa’eed Al-Khudri that the Messenger of Allah(ﷺ) said
“Bath on Fridays is obligatory for every male who hasreached the age of puberty.”
