What was narrated about setting out early for Friday Sunan Ibn Majah 1093
Arabic hadith text
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو كُرَيْبٍ، حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ بَشِيرٍ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ، عَنْ سَمُرَةَ بْنِ جُنْدُبٍ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـضَرَبَ مَثَلَ الْجُمُعَةِ ثُمَّ التَّبْكِيرِ، كَنَاحِرِ الْبَدَنَةِ، كَنَاحِرِ الْبَقَرَةِ، كَنَاحِرِ الشَّاةِ، حَتَّى ذَكَرَ الدَّجَاجَةَ .
Translation
It wasnarrated from Samurah bin Jundab that the Messenger of Allah(ﷺ)described the likeness of Friday, saying that those who comeearliestare like the one who sacrifices a camel, then like one whosacrificesa cow, then like one who sacrifices a sheep, until he mademention ofa chicken.
