حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو كُرَيْبٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ الْمُحَارِبِيُّ، عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، أَنَّ رَجُلاً، دَخَلَ الْمَسْجِدَ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ وَرَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ يَخْطُبُ فَجَعَلَ يَتَخَطَّى النَّاسَ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ " اجْلِسْ فَقَدْ آذَيْتَ وَآنَيْتَ " .
Translation
Abu Kurayb narrated to us: Abd al-Rahman al-Muharibi narrated to us, from Ismail ibn Muslim, from al-Hasan, from Jabir ibn Abdullah: A man entered the mosque on Friday while the Messenger of Allah was delivering a sermon and began stepping over people. The Messenger of Allah said: “Sit down. You have caused harm and arrived late.”
