Sunan Ibn Majah 1117
Arabic hadith text
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ، حَدَّثَنَا جَرِيرُ بْنُ حَازِمٍ، عَنْ ثَابِتٍ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ كَانَ يُكَلَّمُ فِي الْحَاجَةِ إِذَا نَزَلَ عَنِ الْمِنْبَرِ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ .
Translation
Muhammad ibn Bashshar narrated to us: Abu Dawud narrated to us: Jarir ibn Hazim narrated to us, from Thabit, from Anas ibn Malik: When the Prophet descended from the pulpit on Friday, people would speak to him about their needs.
