Sunan Ibn Majah 833
Arabic hadith text
حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ بُدَيْلٍ، حَدَّثَنَا حَفْصُ بْنُ غِيَاثٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، قَالَ كَانَ النَّبِيُّ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ يَقْرَأُ فِي الْمَغْرِبِ {قُلْ يَا أَيُّهَا الْكَافِرُونَ} وَ {قُلْ هُوَ اللَّهُ أَحَدٌ} .
Translation
Ahmad ibn Budayl narrated to us: Hafs ibn Ghiyath narrated to us: 'Ubaydullah narrated to us, from Nafi', from Ibn 'Umar, who said: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to recite in the Maghrib prayer: ‘Say: O disbelievers’ and ‘Say: He is Allah, the One.’
