Sunan Ibn Majah 1120
Arabic hadith text
حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ عَمَّارٍ، حَدَّثَنَا الْوَلِيدُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ سِنَانٍ، عَنْ أَبِي الزَّاهِرِيَّةِ، عَنْ أَبِي عِنَبَةَ الْخَوْلاَنِيِّ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ كَانَ يَقْرَأُ فِي الْجُمُعَةِ بِـ {سَبِّحِ اسْمَ رَبِّكَ الأَعْلَى} وَ {هَلْ أَتَاكَ حَدِيثُ الْغَاشِيَةِ} .
Translation
Hisham ibn Ammar narrated to us: Al-Walid ibn Muslim narrated to us, from Said ibn Sinan, from Abu al-Zahiriyyah, from Abu Inabah al-Khawlani: The Prophet used to recite on Friday, “Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High,” and “Has the story of the Overwhelming Event reached you?”
