Those who do not attend Friday prayer without an excuse Sunan Ibn Majah 1128
Arabic hadith text
حَدَّثَنَا نَصْرُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الْجَهْضَمِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا نُوحُ بْنُ قَيْسٍ، عَنْ أَخِيهِ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ، عَنْ سَمُرَةَ بْنِ جُنْدُبٍ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ قَالَ " مَنْ تَرَكَ الْجُمُعَةَ مُتَعَمِّدًا، فَلْيَتَصَدَّقْ بِدِينَارٍ، فَإِنْ لَمْ يَجِدْ، فَبِنِصْفِ دِينَارٍ "
Translation
It wasnarrated from Samurah bin Jundab that the Prophet (ﷺ) said
“Whoever abandons Friday deliberately, let him give a Dinar incharity, and if he cannot afford that, then (let him give) half aDinar.”
