Greeting children and women
Arabic hadith text
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو خَالِدٍ الأَحْمَرُ، عَنْ حُمَيْدٍ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، قَالَأَتَانَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ وَنَحْنُ صِبْيَانٌ فَسَلَّمَ عَلَيْنَا .
Translation
It was narrated that Anas said
"The Messenger of Allah(ﷺ) came to us, and we were young boys, and he greeted us with (the greeting of) peace".
