حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدَةُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ شُعَيْبٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ، قَالَ نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ عَنْ نَتْفِ الشَّيْبِ وَقَالَ " هُوَ نُورُ الْمُؤْمِنِ " .

It was narrated that Abu Bakr ibn Abi Shaybah said: ‘Abdah ibn Sulayman narrated to us, from Muhammad ibn Ishaq, from ‘Amr ibn Shu‘ayb, from his father, from his grandfather, that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade plucking out gray hairs and said: “They are the believer’s light.”’
