حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا زَيْدُ بْنُ الْحُبَابِ، عَنْ مُوسَى بْنِ عُلَىٍّ، سَمِعْتُ أَبِي يَذْكُرُ، عَنْ سُرَاقَةَ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ قَالَ " أَلاَ أَدُلُّكُمْ عَلَى أَفْضَلِ الصَّدَقَةِ ابْنَتُكَ مَرْدُودَةً إِلَيْكَ لَيْسَ لَهَا كَاسِبٌ غَيْرُكَ " .

It was narrated that Abu Bakr ibn Abi Shaybah said: Zayd ibn al-Hubab narrated to us, from Musa ibn ‘Ulayy, who said: ‘I heard my father mention, from Suraqah ibn Malik, that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “Shall I not tell you of the best charity? It is your daughter returned to you, with no provider for her besides you.”’

The witness appends the grading ‘Daif,’ which does not appear in this Arabic source passage.
