Sahl ibn Abi Sahl narrated to us; Abdullah ibn Numayr narrated to us, from Ubayd Allah, from Nafi, from Ibn Umar, who said: We used to buy food from caravans by estimation, without measuring it. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade us from reselling it until we had moved it from its place.

Jizāfan means buying or selling a bulk quantity by estimation rather than measuring it individually.
Does “by estimation, without measuring it” convey jizāfan clearly?
