Ali ibn Muhammad and Muhammad ibn Ismail narrated to us. They said: Waki narrated to us; Sufyan narrated to us, from Jabir, from al-Qasim ibn Abd al-Rahman, from his father, from Abdullah ibn Masud, who said: When captives were brought to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), he would allocate an entire family together, disliking that they be separated from one another.

The report says the Prophet gave the members of a household together when distributing captives, because he disliked separating them.
Does “allocate an entire family together” convey the distribution context without specifying a particular recipient?
