Abd Allah ibn Said narrated to us; Abu Khalid al-Ahmar narrated to us, from Ibn Ajlan, from Amr ibn Shuayb, from his father, from his grandfather, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “When one of you buys an enslaved woman, let him say: ‘O Allah, I ask You for the good in her and the good disposition You created in her, and I seek refuge in You from the evil in her and the evil disposition You created in her.’ And let him pray for blessing. When one of you buys a camel, let him take hold of the top of its hump, pray for blessing, and say the same.”

Ma jabaltaha alayhi means the qualities or disposition the person was created with; it is rendered as disposition for natural English.
Does “the good disposition You created in her” preserve the sense of ma jabaltaha alayhi?

Dhirwat sanamihi is the uppermost part of the camel’s hump; rendered as the top of its hump.
Does “take hold of the top of its hump” retain the physical instruction?
